Sven B. Schreiber I love it, when "The Arches" write they are trying to run away from their own sound! After all, that's eyactly why I keep on buying their EPs! I love it, how "The Arches" reinvent themselves, experimenting with new sounds and arrangements, while staying true to their indie roots at the same time! I love the new "PLUS" mega-sustain pedal they are using on "Sunday Morning"! I love this album! I love "The Arches"! Favorite track: Krali Marko's Step.

It just doesn’t matter, but if it did, this album was inspired by the world of comic books and everyday life. Like a comic book that never quite tells you the full story-line as it goes from frame to to frame, the songs are like reaching for a new comic book…and probably not the next one in the series. As usual, we are trying to run away from our own sound. Playing the same songs or even the same sound is mundane and quite tiresome to us, so we give up egos and search for what sounds right to us at any given moment. We fall back on what we know, but honestly try to find new ways to present it, as if it mattered.
Hope you enjoy this latest effort.
Peace and Love,
The Arches
