about

Inspired by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky
Swan Lake (1876)
Lake (Russian: Лебединое озеро Lebedinoye ozero), Op. 20, is a ballet composed by Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky in 1875–76. Despite its initial failure, it is now one of the most popular of all ballets.

The Black Swan Suite Op. 21 is a Modern ballet based on the black swan theory. The ballet is set in modern times with a nod to creating motifs and themes that together create a larger musical piece.
Maria was a wife, a friend, a sibling and a daughter. She had three children and her life now revolved around them. Often reflecting on her past and what her life would have been like without the parental duties. Maria’s husband and family are desperately trying to uncover who she was before them and what she had done that would warrant such a thick wall around the details.
The black swan theory is a metaphor that describes an event that comes as a surprise, has a major effect, and is often inappropriately rationalized after the fact with the benefit of hindsight.
Enjoy!
